It’s been a while since I posted anything but after the recent nonsense about the racism towards Harry and Meghan, I thought I should share some historical insight about Queen Charlotte of  Mecklenburg-Strelitz, (1744-1818) the wife of George III who was believed to be the first Black Queen of England. The question is why we never hear about her? And if she was accepted by the public in those days, why is people in the 21st Century find it so difficult to embrace a Black person within this Monarchy?
