Today on celebrating Black History Month 2020, I’m recommending this book Twisted: The Tangled History of Black Hair culture by Emma Dabiri (https://www.abebooks.co.uk/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=30755143673). I’m sure those of us born with natural twisted hair share the same experience and also know the stigma surrounding our hair type. I’m guilty of detesting my natural hair and have spend so much money on relaxing products, so for me this book is refreshing to hear someone else sharing their experience.
